天狼星口琴樂團透過多年來實務演奏與調整維修經驗，正式推出Laelaps手工客製琴品牌。Laelaps為大犬座，其中最亮的即為「天狼星」，與樂團同名，希望帶給演奏家與琴友們舒適的演奏體驗。製琴師張晁滕與蔡明憲老師，皆為全職口琴教育與演奏家，且具有超過15年的口琴演奏與維修經驗。Laelaps手工客製琴採用德國Hohner 原廠簧座板與按鍵系統，簧片擁有高靈敏性的同時也保有音色多變的特點。原廠吹嘴與按鍵系統順暢且經由手工調整達到整體氣密度提升。

Laelaps – represented by Canis Major, a constellation, that contains the brightest star in the night sky, Sirius. Chao-Teng Chang (Jordan) and Ming-Hsien Tsai (DMing), chromatic harmonica players from Sirius Harmonica Ensemble (Taiwan), devote their expertise to custom making a harmonica tailored to each players’ individual needs. At the same time, passing on the spirit of Laelaps, which in Greek mythology, is known for the dog who never failed to catch what she was hunting – To chase for advancement in harmonica playing.
